 JOB SUMMARY: Creates and manages an attractive, warm and challenging learning environment for infants and toddlers. Incorporates developmentally appropriate early intervention, learning and care activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of individual children and families. Encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program.  To develop individual goals for children, provide on-going assessment on progress and facilitate transition into next level of education. Responsible for the safety of the children.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood. Associate’s degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with three years’ experience in early childhood is required.  Must have experience in teaching and Early Childhood Program administration. Excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of available community resources required. Knowledge of and ability to comply with Head Start Performance Standards is mandatory. Ability to respond appropriately (both mentally and physically) to an emergency or a crisis situation. Daily kneeling, stooping, bending, and sitting on the floor to attend to children's needs. Lifting up to 60 lbs. Eligible applicants must pass a DHS Background review. Pre-employment drug testing required. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, proof of automobile liability insurance and a good driving record. Within 30 days of employment must be Pediatric first aid and CPR certified. This may be assisting in the classroom, family services, food service, custodial or clerical work. Assists with the children in any area as required. Must demonstrate capacity for effectively caring for pre-school aged children and must be free of any communicable diseases and have no criminal record as verified by the OSBI and DHS. LOCATION:  Office out of Enid, Woodward or Yukon                                    

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for oversight of the application data input of all HSFIS information on children enrolled in the Head Start Program and their families.  Must monitor the completed applications to ensure all data has been collected to be put into the HSFIS system.  Compiles statistical data, records and reports as required.  May perform other general clerical duties. Shares in the responsibility for the safety and well-being of the children.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.  Clerical work experience with focus on data entry preferred.  Must have excellent computer skills.  Continued employment requires compliance with agency rules and regulations.  Must demonstrate an effort to work in harmony with other staff members. Must be free of communicable diseases. Oklahoma DHS/OBI Criminal Background Review required. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
