Big Five will provide Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance to persons 60 years of age and older living in Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnson, Love, Marshall, Murray, and Pontotoc Counties.
Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance helps older adults improve their balance and reduce the likelihood of falling. Participants will learn balance skills, good body alignment, and coordinated movements in circular and flowing motions. Classes will be twice a week, for either six or nine weeks, and are facilitated by a trained instructor.
